OVERVIEW
WHAT REMAINS, 2016
Chiang Mai University Art Center
What Remains was a solo exhibition held at Chiang Mai University Art Center, Thailand. The exhibition consisted of 7 small sensory sculptures that viewers could peer into and discover illusory spaces of texture, movement, light and smell within. These objects were placed on chairs throughout the gallery space. In this work Michelle considers the 'essence of life' that remains in vacated spaces and aims to capture these real or imagined sensory experiences in her work.
